I love helping couples see each other in a new light, and find their connection again. ​Dr. Sue Johnson said that the most important thing in a relationship is the sense that you are there for each other. Sometimes we just need some support to understand what is getting in the way of us feeling that way about our loved ones.

I offer in person sessions in Austin (West Lake Hills) and virtual sessions for TX and CA residents.

We will talk on the phone (or on a video call) and talk about what services you are seeking, what brings you to seek therapy at the moment and ways I can support your goals. It's a great chance to get to know each other a little bit more before scheduling an initial full session.
​What modality do you use?
I attended an integrative master's program, where I learned about many different modalities and had the opportunity to dive deep into humanistic modalities where the focus is less on behavior modifications but more on root cause of symptoms. I've also had extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which has been well researched with very impressive outcomes.

70-75% of couples who undergo EFT report significant improvement in their relationship, with many experiencing a shift from distress to recovery.

90% of couples who complete EFT report substantial improvement in emotional bonding and relationship satisfaction.

A study of couples in high distress showed that more than 80% of couples who received EFT moved from relationship distress to a secure attachment, suggesting the therapy’s strong effectiveness in helping couples regain emotional closeness.

Is Emotionally focused therapy only for couples?
No. While this modality started as a couple's therapy solution, it has also been applied to individuals and families with a lot of success as well.

What does the process look like?​
First, you can schedule a free consultation. This will be a 15 min phone/video call where you can ask me any questions and get a better sense of how I work. After that, we can schedule your first sessions. Sessions are usually 50 minutes, and the first session is where I will gather more information to get a better sense of what goals you have for coming to therapy and how I might be able to help you get there.
